The MB WAY app is a digital solution provided by SIBS that offers a convenient way to handle your payments all in one place. By linking your mobile phone number to your bank card, you gain the ability to send, receive, and request money, split accounts, generate virtual MB NET cards, and make online and in-store purchases using QR codes or NFC. Additionally, you can keep track of your subscriptions and recurring payments within the app. With the latest innovation of MB WAY Pulse, you can even use MB WAY without an active smartphone, battery, or internet connection.

All of this is provided with the assurance of security from SIBS. The MB WAY app has already gained recognition and boasts 5 million users who benefit from its features on a daily basis, making it the preferred payment app in Portugal.

Here are some of the key functionalities offered by the MB WAY app:

1. Making Payments with MB WAY:
- In physical stores: Select the "Pay with MB WAY" button and choose either the QR Code or NFC option. For QR Code payments, simply scan the QR Code displayed on the payment terminal. If the transaction requires additional verification, confirm with your MB WAY PIN, Touch ID, or Face ID. In the case of NFC payments, just touch your mobile phone to the payment terminal and confirm any additional verification in the app if needed.
- In online stores: Choose the MB WAY payment method and enter your mobile phone number. You'll receive a confirmation notification with your MB WAY PIN to authorize the payment.

2. Using MB NET for Online Purchases:
- Generate an MB NET card within the MB WAY app under "Cartões MB NET."
- When making an online purchase, select the option to pay with a card and provide the details of the generated MB NET card.

3. Withdrawing Money at MULTIBANCO:
- Select the "Withdraw Money" option within the MB WAY app, enter the desired amount, and authorize it with your MB WAY PIN or Touch ID.
- At a MULTIBANCO ATM, enter the generated withdrawal code, press the green button, and select the "Withdraw Money" option. You can also generate a code for someone else to withdraw money on your behalf.

4. Sending and Requesting Money:
- To send money, simply press the "Send Money" button, enter the recipient's contact information and the amount, and confirm the transaction with your MB WAY PIN.
- To request money, select the "Request Money" button, choose the contact you want to ask for payment from, specify the amount, and confirm the operation.

5. Splitting an Account:
- Use the "Split Account" feature to divide expenses among multiple contacts. Select the "Split Account" button, choose the desired contacts, indicate the total bill amount, and confirm the operation.

6. Managing Authorized Payments:
- Access the "Authorized Payments" feature to manage your subscriptions and recurring payments. Simply select this payment method with participating partners, enter your mobile phone number, confirm in your MB WAY app, and validate with your PIN.

7. Activating MB WAY Pulse:
- Use MB WAY Pulse to make contactless payments with devices such as bracelets or key rings that are associated with your MB WAY account. With MB WAY Pulse, you can make purchases even without your smartphone present or with no battery or internet access.
